鈥淢y board has told me that I was pretty self-aware as a first-time C.E.O. It might be because at some level I have a dual identity. I didn鈥檛 feel like I had to pretend that I鈥檓 the world鈥檚 best C.E.O. because I have my academic life as well.
鈥淭hat self-awareness really comes down to a balance of knowing both your strengths but also your weaknesses and not trying to hide those.鈥
